About us

The Anderton Centre is managed by Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative (LOAI) and independent local charity (No 1069324) that was started in 1989.

The Charity's main aim is to extend the benefits of outdoor activities to those persons having need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions.
